There appears to be good news on the injury front for Blackhawks goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin. There is no timetable for his return, but he has been skating with the team and could return to practice in the near future. Chicago travels to Boston tomorrow for a 1 PM face-off with the Bruins.

Making progress: Nikolai Khabibulin, out since Feb. 11 with a groin injury, had a third straight day of solid work on the ice Wednesday, although he didn’t practice with the team.
“We’re seeing real good progress over the last couple of days,” Joel Quenneville said. “That’s three days in a row on the ice, so I think it won’t be too long before he’s inserted into practice.”
