Sergei Shirokov scored and Eddie Lack made 20 saves as the Manitoba Moose defeated the Houston Aeros 1-0 in American Hockey League action Saturday. Shirokov scored the game’s only goal at 3:51 of the third period. A low shot by Travis Ramsey deflected off Houston goaltender Anton Khudobin’s and pads right on to Shirokov’s stick.
