That combination brightened the mood of the struggling Devils following a 5-0 win Monday that stunned the NHL-leading Washington Capitals.
Hedberg stopped 30 shots for his 15th career shutout, Jason Arnott scored twice while rookie Mattias Tedenby and Patrik Elias each had a goal and an assist for the Devils, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
