And after being held to only one assist over the past eight games, Russian forward Sergei Shirokov was much more effective, picking up four assists to reclaim the scoring lead.
Shirokov’s 38 points leave him one up on rookie winger Bill Sweatt.
With the win, the Moose improved to 29-17-1-5 and increased their lead in the North Division standings to three points over the Hamilton Bulldogs, who lost 3-2 to the Rochester Americans on Saturday.
