Sinking Lake Erie Monsters help Rochester Americans snap losing streak

Evgeny Dadonov recorded a goal and an assist and Clay Wilson added two assists as the Rochester Amerks scored two first period goals in a 3-1 victory over Lake Erie Wednesday night at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The win snapped Rochester’s (39-30-2-0) three-game losing streak and moved the Amerks into sole possession of second place in the North Division.
It was also Rochester’s first victory on the road against the Monsters this season.
Dadonov beat Lake Erie goalie Tyler Weiman 34 seconds into the game for a 1-0 lead.
