Since 1994, the New York Rangers and Ronald McDonald House have teamed together to raise funds to support families of children with cancer. Over the years, the “Skate with the Greats” event has successfully raised in excess of $6 million for the Ronald McDonald House of New York, whose mission is to provide a home away from home for children undergoing active treatment.
The Ronald McDonald House of New York is supported in part by the Rangers and is a partner of the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with the New York Rangers and all areas of Madison Square Garden to make dreams come true for children facing obstacles.
