With Bingo jumping out to an early 1-0 lead just three minutes into the game on a Mike Hoffman goal, the B-Sens looked to be off to a great start. But at the 8:17 mark of the first period, Luke Adam got Portland on the board to tie the game at one apiece. But ten seconds later, Kaspars Daugavins scored his sixth of the playoffs to give Bingo the lead for good. Captain Ryan Keller would also score in the period as the score was 3-1 Binghamton after 20 minutes.
The B-Sens added three more goals as Daugavins scored his second of the game, and Ryan Potulny added a pair himself. The final score was 6-1 in Binghamton’s favour as they take a 3-1 series lead over Portland.
