Ottawa Senators Prospect Kaspars Daugavins Assists In Victory Over P-Bruins

An open-ice hit from Max Sauvé opened the action between Providence and Binghamton and resulted in Nathan McIver pummeling Cody Bass with right after right in a quick decision just two minutes into the game. The play gave the Senators a five-on-four advantage and allowed Corey Locke to beat Matt Dalton with a shot from the high slot at 3:26 of the first. Andre Benoit and Kaspars Daugavins assisted on the game-opening goal.
