Defenseman Shea Weber had a goal and two assists and Pekka Rinne saved 19 of 20 shots to help the Nashville Predators continue their home-ice dominance against the Columbus Blue Jackets with a 4-1 victory Sunday night.
Nashville has won 15 straight home games against the Jackets.
“We kind of got a little bit into a spectator mode and started to get a little too cute,” Blue Jackets coach Scott Arniel said. “In the first period, we got pucks in and got after them (the Predators) and forced them to turn pucks over, then they did the opposite and did the same thing (to us). Once the first couple (of goals) went in, it was a scramble mode.”
