Kaspars Daugavins Helps B-Sens Capture Calder Cup In 3-2 Victory Over Aeros

Latvian ice hockey forward Kaspars Daugavsins’ Binghamton “Senators” won the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Calder Cup on Tuesday by beating Houston “Aeros” 3-2 (0-0, 1-2, 2-0) in Houston, winning the series 4-2, informs LETA.

Daugavins is the second Latvian ice hockey player to win Calder Cup after Arturs Kulda, who won the cup playing for Chicago “Wolves” in 2008.

Daugavins had one assist in the last game. He made four shots on goal and ended up the game with a +1 efficiency rating.
